SOAR: Lead the Future Conference at the UF College of Pharmacy St. Petersburg Campus

Cost & Sponsorship

SOAR is absolutely free to attend! Thanks to the generous support of Target, the SOAR conference, including all meals, is free for UF College of Pharmacy students!

We sincerely thank Target for their support of SOAR 2010.

Registration

Registration is limited! We have room for a limited number of students only. Therefore it is important to register EARLY. If you register for SOAR we expect you to attend! Otherwise you will have essentially wasted a registration spot. SOAR registration closes at noon on December 1st, 2009.

Travel Reimbursement Information

Students from the St. Petersburg Campus will not be reimbursed for any expenses. If St. Pete students choose to stay at the hotel they will need to pay for it on their own. Students traveling to SOAR from the Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Orlando campuses will be reimbursed for a portion of their travel expenses. The specific amount of reimbursement will be determined after SOAR.

We estimate that each student will be reimbursed $20-25 for the hotel stay. This reimbursement rate is based on 4 people to a room. You can choose to have fewer people per room but it will result in a greater expense to you. In order to receive hotel reimbursement each student will need to provide a copy of their hotel receipt showing that they paid for a portion of the hotel bill. Our group room rates at the Holiday Inn Harbourside range from $99 to $169 per night.

We will also reimburse drivers to SOAR based on mileage traveled and number of passengers. In order to receive reimbursement for driving expenses cars must contain 3 or more SOAR participants.

Forms for reimbursement purposes will be available when you register at SOAR.
