The Lipids and Hypertension Disorders Therapy Certificate Program provides the extensive training and information you need to address the concerns of patients with these two diseases. And because it's a distance-learning program, you can complete the program and start using your specialized skills as you go.

Program of Study

The University of Florida's Lipid and Hypertension Disorders Therapy Certificate Program provides the extensive training and information you need to manage the pharmacotherapy of patients on lipid and hypertension therapy. You will be prepared to:

  • Assess and monitor your patient's condition.
  • Manage complex drug therapy.
  • Efficiently coordinate documentation and record keeping.
  • Apply specialized counseling and teaching skills to better manage and care for your patients.
  • Market and promote the growth of your specialized skills.
  • Generate new income within your pharmacy.

  • Modules

    This 12-week Lipids and Hypertension Therapy Certificate Program is divided into three independent learning modules. You will earn 10 continuing education credits (1.0 CEU's) after completion of each module for a total of 30 continuing education credits (3.0 CEU's). The University of Florida College of Pharmacy will award you a Certificate upon completion of the full program, indicating that you have mastered a rigorous course of study. Your Certificate will be worthy of proudly displaying in your practice setting. Earn both the Certificate and your required CEU's and learn about the phamacotherapeutic management of both disease states in one course!
