From MALPENSA Airport there are different options

Through Gallarate (New time table)
A shuttle bus service connects the airport to the Railway Station of Gallarate (a small town located halfway between Stresa and Milano).
Departure: Terminal 1 at -1 Floor in front of the Railway station, look for S.A.C.O sign (+39 0331 258411)
Timetable:
5.34* - 6.05** - 6.45 - 7.15** - 7.56 - 8.29* - 9.00 - 9.30* - 10.30 - 11.30** - 15.30 - 16.28 - 17.38 - 18.45* - 19.50*.
(*) From Monday to Friday - (**) From Monday to Saturday.
Trip time: 25 minutes (€ 1.55, ticket on board).
Then by train from Gallarate Station to Stresa: about half an hour trip time (timetable: www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html).
The Stresa Railway Station is located in Via Carducci, five-minutes walk from the Congress Centre.

ALIBUS Service (recommended)
A daily bus service, called Alibus Service (operated by S.A.F.), connects the Airport to Stresa (and viceversa) during the high tourist season. Alibus Service has to be booked the day before the arrival in Italy, within 11 a.m. local time (for arrival on Monday, book the service within Saturday 11 a.m.). Taxi
A taxi service from the airport to Stresa is available. Trip time: 40 minutes (about 90-100 €).
Through Milano (two options)
- Malpensa Express Train (www.malpensaexpress.com) to Cadorna Station (last stop); then by subway “Green line” (direction Cologno-Gessate) get off at Central Station.
- Shuttle Bus (www.malpensashuttle.it) to Central Station, last stop.
