Medication Dispensing Errors

This course provides 2 hours of continuing education in medication error prevention. Rule 64B16-26.103 requires that pharmacists registered in the State of Florida and all pharmacists who wish to become registered in Florida must successfully complete a continuing education course 2 hours in length in medication error prevention each licensing period. This course meets the criteria specified in the rule.

 

Instructions for course: (1) Once you have registered, open the answer sheet and print it. (2) Open the Course Assessment Questions. You will find this helpful when you are watching the videos. (3) Click on Video One. The presentaton will begin in a minute or so in your browser. After completing Video One follow the directions to the link specified at the end of video one. When you have completed listening and watching the short film clip, click on Video Two. The plug-ins required for the course are listed on the left side of this page with the respective links. These are free downloads. Once you have watched both videos, answer the questions on the answer form and submit it according to the directions on the form.
