What is a Certificate Program in Pharmacy? It is a structured and systematic post-graduate continuing experience for pharmacists. It’s generally smaller in magnitude and shorter in duration than a degree program, and it imparts knowledge, skills, attitudes, and performance behaviors designed to meet specific pharmacy practice objectives. It is much more than a regular continuing education program in that it involves in-depth commitment on the part of learners. Providers of Certificate Programs in Pharmacy must develop and deliver Certificate Programs in accord with distinctive standards set by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
The University of Florida College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
