The State of Florida requires that pharmacists complete a course in HIV/AIDS each licensing period*. Additionally, those wishing to take the Florida licensure exam or transfer a license to Florida must take a 3-hour The College of Pharmacy offers courses for pharmacists to meet these needs.
* Pharmacists who completed an approved HIV/AIDS course in the previous licensing period are allowed to take a course in End of Life Care rather than an HIV/AIDS course during this licensing period.
The University of Florida College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
