Our Objectives

  • Enhance the quality of food-drug interaction research at the University of Florida as well as of researchers at other institutions by bringing together faculty working in this field and increasing multidisciplinary collaboration among these faculty.

  • Educate the health care community on potential food-drug interactions providing specific guidelines for dosing recommendations.

  • Identify the needs for seminars, workshops and symposia providing a forum for discussion of food-drug interaction related topics at local, national and international meetings.

  • Educate the general public about the risks and potential significance of food-drug interaction based on scientifically-founded evidence.
