
The Office for Student Affairs serves students and faculty in many capacities including coordination of: recruitment activities, application and admission processing, orientation sessions, assistance with career days, open house in Gainesville, commencement ceremonies, and college awards reception. In addition, the staff in the Office for Students Affairs provides academic advisement for pre-pharmacy students, tracks pre-clinical requirements, coordinates the criminal background check requirements, arranges for distribution of college financial aid, notifies students about awards selections, arranges the classroom schedule for each semester, assists in registration of students, facilitates the pharmacy internship application, maintains information on the college website, monitors student academic performance, assists with reporting grades, certifies students for graduation, and clarifies college and university policies and procedures.
