The mission of our graduate program is to produce intellectually independent researchers and teachers in the medication use process. Our department has more than 20 students pursuing Ph.D. degrees. Approximately half of our students are pharmacists and the remaining students have prior degrees in public health, statistics, veterinary medicine, psychology, business, medicine, economics, health education, and linguistics.
Graduate students in our program have not only excelled in their studies, they have gone on to widely varied careers. Feel free to review the information on this page to learn more about how to apply to the Ph.D. program and for detailed information about the program’s goals and its curriculum. Please take a few moments to view the students profiles on current and recent graduates. I think you will see why we are so proud of our students.
