Jae Min Hwang

Jaemin Hwang graduated from the College of Pharmacy at the Seoul National University (SNU) in South Korea. After graduation, initially he studied medicinal chemistry in the graduate school at SNU working as a teaching assistant. However his career had shifted into pharmacy profession since he became interested in the changing roles of pharmacists in Korea after reformation of health care system in 2000. Jaemin had worked in the National Cancer Center in Korea as a hospital pharmacist and several community pharmacies. In the Fall of 2003 awarded an alumni fellowship from the University of Florida, he entered the Department of Pharmacy Health Care Administration’s Ph.D. program. His research interests lie in the pharmacoeconomics and pharmaceutical policies.
