Christian Hampp received his pharmacy degree at Saarland University, Saarbruecken, Germany in summer 2004. He had his first contact with the University of Florida in summer 2003 when he spent six months as an intern in the department of Pharmaceutics with Dr. Derendorf. During this time, he became interested in the research and education done in Pharmacy Health Care Administration that resulted in his application in this department. He joined the Ph.D program in fall 2004 and has so far been working as a teaching assistant in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Evaluation and Professional Communications. His research interests include Pharmacoeconomics, Health Policy and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Christian is a recipient of the Grinter Fellowship. He is a member of the German Pharmaceutical Society (DPhG)and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
