After graduating with a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Mosul, Iraq in July 2002, Ayad has worked in a variety of areas within the profession including as a community pharmacist in Kirkuk, as a hospital/clinical pharmacist at the Saddam General Hospital in Kirkuk, as an industrial pharmacist at the Nineveh Drug Industries in Mosul and as an academic pharmacist at the University of Tikrit.
In early 2005, Ayad was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study for a Masters degree in Pharmacy at the University of Florida in the USA. He is concentrating his research in phramacoepidemiology. Ayad is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation-Academic, a member of the Pharmacy Section & Young Pharmacists Group and a faculty member in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Tikrit in Iraq.
