The Perry A. Foote Outcomes Modeling Laboratory is located in the new Health Professions, Nursing and Pharmacy (HPNP) building on the University of Florida campus. The Modeling Laboratory has two components—a Quantitative Core and a Qualitative Core. The quantitative laboratory consists of high speed dedicated computers, intra and internet connections, color printing capabilities and scanning devices. Most statistical packages, modeling packages, and query languages are maintained and up-to-date in the lab. The qualitative laboratory provides a fully-equipped facility for conducting qualitative research. The laboratory provides videotaping and audiotaping capabilities and facilities to conduct focus groups, observational research or individual interviews.
