Professor McKenzie teaches in the Professional Communications course and coordinates laboratory exercises. She has conducted research on medication use patterns in the elderly, and in pharmacists’ interventions to improve drug therapy outcomes. She has also participated in research to evaluate drug and nondrug treatments of patients with osteoporosis.
