Georgia Frieswick, Ph.D.
Director of Development
georgia@cop.ufl.edu
Georgia works in partnership with the Senior Director of Development to
strategically match the educational needs of our pharmacy students with the
philanthropic interests and capacities of alumni and other potential donors.
After graduating with her PhD in Pharmacology from the University of
Minnesota, Georgia worked for DuPont, Bristol Laboratories and 3M, assuming
roles of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, training and business
development. Finding herself desiring a different challenge emphasizing more
a societal contribution rather than the bottom line, she taught high school
and college math for one year until she was adopted by the Gator Nation from
Fort Myers, FL. She is now pursuing her passion by helping provide a
transformative educational experience to ensure the success of our next
generation, including her two sons.
